The City of Macedonia’s Service Department is responsible for operation and maintenance of the City’s streets, rights-of-way, traffic signals, street lighting, City parks, sidewalks, and other infrastructure. The Service Department also manages the City’s vehicles, public buildings, and grounds facilities.

In addition to day-to-day operations, the annual salt contract, leaf and snow removal, citywide mowing and landscaping program, solid waste and recycling contract, storm water maintenance and ditching program, service requests, and various infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation projects all fall under the direction of the Service Department. 

Macedonia’s service team consists of one full-time director, two administrative assistants, two service supervisors, and 20 full-time service employees.
