The Community Room, located on the ground floor of the Macedonia City Center, is available for residents to rent for parties, gatherings or events.

1. Community room can accommodate 100-120 people. Your rental includes tables and chairs, as well as access to the kitchen for catering and food warming.
2. Community room is available for rentals between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Room is reserved by the hour, and the total allotted time must include set up and clean up.
3. Fee is $50 per hour for residents and $75 for non-residents. A $100 security deposit also is required. Cash or check only. Checks should be made payable to: City of Macedonia.
4. To check availability and book a date, contact Cheri Kuczma at 330-468-8300, ext. 432. After confirming availability, complete the application (link below) and submit your fee and deposit.
5. Nonprofit groups may be eligible for free or reduced rentals, upon approval of the mayor.
6. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Macedonia City Center.
7. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere in the Macedonia City Center.
8. Youth groups must have a minimum of one adult per 20 children when using the Community Room.
9. Renter is responsible for all cleanup, including removing trash, cleaning tables, and sweeping floors. Renters must supply their own trash bags.

Community Room Rental Application/Agreement

If you need tables and chairs for an upcoming party or event, the City of Macedonia has limited quantities available to rent for a small fee.

1. You must be a Macedonia resident and the event must be held within Macedonia city limits.
2. A limited number of folding chairs, 6' and 8' rectangular tables, and 60" round tables are available. First come, first served.
3. Tables and chairs must be picked up at Service Department Garage No. 1 at 9000 Valley View Road on Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and returned on Monday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The garage closes promptly at 3:30 p.m., so all loading and unloading must happen prior to 3:30 p.m.
4. Call Laura Butto in our Service Department at 330-468-8330 to confirm availability.
5. After availability is confirmed, complete the rental application (link below) and submit your fee and deposit in person to the Finance Department at City Hall. Residents must bring driver's license or ID as proof of residency.
6. Rental fee is $25 for any quantity of tables and chairs. A $100 damage deposit also is required. Cash or check only. Checks should be made payable to: City of Macedonia.
