Prescription Drug Drop Off

If you have expired or unused medications at home, the safest place to dispose of them is a Drug Take Back disposal site, like the one in the lobby of Macedonia City Center. You can drop off prescription and over-the-counter medications (pills, capsules and syrups only) in our secure collection bin. The Macedonia Police Department ensures the meds are destroyed.

E-Commerce Safety Zone

If you buy or sell items online via Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, keep in mind that the City of Macedonia has a designated E-Commerce Safety Zone in the City Hall parking lot. This is a safe place to meet the other party for face-to-face transactions.
