The Building Department is responsible for issuing permits and monitoring various projects within the City. This department provides expertise in various building construction and codes, thus assuring the citizens of Macedonia an environment which is safe and free of potential hazards inherent in the construction of building. Permitting hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Persons may contact the Building Department staff for assistance by calling 330-468-8363 or 330-468-8364 between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Inspections

The City of Macedonia offers next day inspections. All inspection requests must be called in or emailed to the Building Department office by 3:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the inspection.
