The Silverdonians are a local group of seniors made up of Macedonia residents that have enjoyed meeting once a month since 1997. Continuing the tradition is very important and they meet on the third Thursday of each month at Macedonia City Hall in the Community Room.

*Our lunch is catered by Sharon Mounts and her great staff at Cater For You in Oakwood Village. We serve lunch around noon, which includes a delicious entree, vegetable/salad, rolls/bread (butter) and dessert. Our program or movie starts at 1:00 p.m.
The cost of the lunch is $3.00 to be paid ahead or by reservations called in two (2) days before the luncheon.

‘Senior’ Morning Call In Program’: Free daily welfare check to make sure seniors are OK each day. You can call Dianne Moore in the Fire Department for more information on 330.468.8339.
Attention Senior Citizens! The City of Macedonia offers Free Snow Removal and Free Rubbish Disposal to our low income senior citizens over the age of 65.
Snow Removal: The Snow Removal Program consists of free driveway plowing after a minimum of three inches of freshly fallen snow has accumulated. Snow removal is provided once within a 24 hour period. This service is applied for on a yearly basis. Please call 330.468.8323 to be added to our mailing list for applications for next season.
Rubbish Program:The Rubbish Disposal Program consists of free rubbish collection and curbside recycling. This service is provided weekly by the current Macedonia trash hauler and the tab is picked up by the City.
