Macedonia Celebrates Earth Day…
Macedonia Earth Day Celebration was held on Saturday, April 20th. Residents came out to help clean up and beautify the City despite the snow shower! Participants received a t-shirt or earth bag and a tree seedling.
They enjoyed homemade donuts and coffee. The morning concluded with a celebration of Arbor Day where a Halesia Carolina tree was planted with the assistance of Girl Scout Troop #91223. The Mayor proclaimed April 26, 2013 as Arbor Day in the City of Macedonia, and urges all citizens to celebrate Arbor Day and to support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands.

-Do Not put liquid used oil in the trash!
-Do Not mix your used oil with other liquids or wastes that might cause a hazardous waste!
-Do Label Containers and/or Tanks!
-Do Recycle your used motor oil!
-NEVER THROW USED OIL ON THE GROUND, DOWN THE SEWER, DOWN A SEPTIC TANK, OR IN A FLOOR DRAIN!
