Our Brother, Gary Paster, gave his life in the line of duty during the early morning hours of May 15th, 1986. While en route to aid a Sagamore Hills Township unit with a call of an open door (a possible B & E) at a business in their town, there was a horrific crash at the intersection of State Routes 8 and 82. Gary subsequently died from his injuries on May 29, 1986. Gary was a good Policeman and a good friend. We will never forget him.
