This department provides expertise in various building construction and codes, thus assuring the citizens of Macedonia an environment, which is safe and free of potential hazards inherent in the construction of building.

Stormwater/Drainage Complaints
Currently all stormwater issues are being addressed by the Service Department. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Service Department at 330-468-8324.
For information regarding the NEORSD Stormwater Management Program or FEMA Floodplain, please contact City Engineer Nick Fini at 440-230-6008.
A stormwater workshop was held at Macedonia City Hall. Meeting was hosted by Building/Engineering with presentations provided by Frank Greenland and Rachel Webb of NEORSD. Frank, Director of Watershed Programs, presented an overview of the stormwater program. Rachel, the WAC (watershed advisory committee) representative for Macedonia, presented an overview of the Fee Credit program available to residents and business owners in Macedonia.
